Ex-Arsenal striker NicklasBendtner could not hide his joy after the North London Derby (NLD) success recorded by his former club recently in the Premier League. NicklasBendtner used his official Instagram handle to convey his happiness at how the latest North London Derby clash between hosts Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur turned out.
NicklasBendtner posted the picture of him watching the NLD game on his Instagram story with the caption ‘So far it's a good Sunday’. The Danish footballer is not a stranger to making a mark in the North London Derby. His finest moment as an Arsenal footballer came during the North London Derby as he came off the bench to score a bullet header off a corner kick late in the game to lead the Gunners to a 2-1 win at home over their rivals thus claiming bragging rights in the process.

In the latest NLD encounter in the Premier League, Arsenal blew Tottenham Hotspur away in the first half as their rivals failed to provide answers to the impressive display from Mikel Arteta and his players in the first 45 minutes.
Gabonese international Pierre-EmerickAubameyang has a very good record at home to Spurs on the Premier League scene with three goals in two games and he made it four North London Derby goals in just three goals by doubling the lead for his team. Aubameyang added a second Arsenal goal after young midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe had scored the opening goal of the match.

Smith-Rowe came through the Arsenal ranks before making his debut for the club and he understands the importance of the North London Derby. Fellow Arsenal Academy graduate Bukayo Saka was the recipient of the third Arsenal goal.
Tottenham Hotspur scored one goal in the second half through South Korean star Son Heung-Min but it was all the visitors managed against an Arsenal defence marshalled well by goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. Arsenal recorded a 3-1 win over Spurs to move above them on the table and into the top ten at the end of what was the penultimate league game.
