BENDTNER BACK ON TRACK

Nicklas Bendtner appears to be going through the best season of his playing career, at least in terms of goals being scored in a single campaign; it’s certainly his most memorable one as he has found the back of the net on 17 occasions during 23 games in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

Out of the entire playing career of Nicklas Bendtner which extends for over 10 years, the Danish attacker has never managed to score 17 league goals in a single season during any of his previous clubs or leagues that the 29 year old player has performed in.

It was on March 6 of 2017 when Bendtner joined the Norwegian outfit Rosenborg BK and the agent of the Danish player has recently revealed details concerning offers which were launched at the former Arsenal performer.

“It was not the case that he should definitely be away in the January. There were different considerations. We were considering being in Nottingham, and there were also offers from countries such as China and the United States. We thought we could still save 2017 in the sense that Nicklas might be able to play in Europe and play 25 to 30 league matches in 2017. It is the advantage that you play 30 matches from March to December in Norway.” Bendtner’s agent, Benes said.

From the looks of it, opting to compete in Norway instead of United States or China was the best decision for Nicklas Bendtner as he is firing from all cylinders at least in terms of goals being scored.

The 29 year old player is helping Rosenborg in securing the Norwegian Eliteserien title which they have not been able to do since 2014 which is the last time that Rosenborg when emerged as the champions of Norway.
